Upon your return, Sergei greets you. He tells you that he has sent a guilder to seek the assassins that you require. He thinks that you will have them in you employ by the beginning of the next month and that they ilk are not known amongst the people of Molochev.

He also tells you that Gregor has gone before the Prince of Terror. That he met his end well according to those that were sent to slay him. Unfortunately, Pavel escaped. The assassins are hunting him.

There is currently no word from your spies in Kozlovny. Sergei estimates that there should be news shortly.

The girl has remained hidden in your chambers and has not been seen by anyone, so her presence has remained undetected by others of the brotherhood.

All you can do now is wait.

Upon your return, you find that Sugat and the other members of the One True Church are dismayed by the apparent murder of Gregor and that it is rumored that Pavel is responsible for his death and has fled. Apparently the men that Sergei hired did their job well with nothing to implicate you.

Pavel has definitely gone "underground". If anyone knows his whereabouts, they are not talking. But most Vos would consider hiding a cowardly act and would most likely challenge him if he surfaced. For now, it seems that he poses no threat to your plans.

As you have instructed him to, Yuri spends a few days in Sviatol, before he rides north to deliver you message to the Dancer. He will ask if she knows of a way to deal with one of wizardly power.

Sergei and Pyotr spend their days making sure that the girl doesn't wander. They both know she is valuable to your cause.

Toward the end of the month you receive a message from your spies in Kozlovnny.

My esteemed lord,

in accordance with your wishes, we have spent many weeks in Kozlovnny.
There is great concern for the missing Princess. So much so that the King
has offered a reward for any information regarding her whereabouts.

On other matters, the King seems to be well loved by his subjects and has
the support of his nobles. He also commands a fair amount of resources
that could prove useful to your quest ,my lord.

Given our previous relationship with the people of Kozlovnny, it is not
likely, unless my lord possesses a silver tongue, that they can be
convinced to supply troops to your cause. It is more likely that they can be
convinced to ransom the girl. She is his only child.

The only enemies that the King seems to have is our great people of
Molochev, the foul sorceress the Swan Mage, and the Goblins. Though
there is a priest of Belinik that is said to skulk in the darkness like a thief
instead of heralding our god's desires and abolishing the temples of the
foul goddess Avani and returning the people of Kozlovnny to the proper
path of the One True Church. At some point this dog might be of some use
to you, but we think that he would be of little aid against the King at this
time.

We await your will.

Your servant,

Borus Malkovich

In the meantime, Kasmir is taking careful inventory of Drago's defenses. It will take him some time to compile the information so as not to arouse suspicion. He will report on the pieces as he's able to discern matters.

So now what are you doing? You will probaly have information from Yuri and the Dancer in a week or so. She's out reestablishing contact with those that she trusts. So, now you need to deal with how you want to approach the King of Kozlovnny.

Vladimir Nikailov,

You do not know me, but my name is Raznic Nightshade priest of The One True Church and Molochev is my home. I have come to learn of some information that you may help you in the search for your daughter. I know where she is, how she was taken, and what it will take to get her released and back into your arms my lord.

I know that our countries are not on the best of terms, but I think this will be the turning point in a new alliance between us. Major things will have to happen here in order to gain access to more info and put myself in harms way in order to gain her release my lord. I will have to unseat the Czar(and I can take care of Sugat as well before/later), and with this I need your help.

With this we could now form an alliance with our peoples with Drago not constantly being a thorn in your side. I would have no intentions in your lands, and would gladly offer my country's services when needed. I ask for support (troops) to be supplied and under my command and I can return your daughter to you safe. Your troops will be a distraction while I do what I must to free her. I ask that you honor my request so that your daughter will be returned and Molochev will turn a new corner and no longer look to your lands.....(as they currently do, Drago that is!)

I await your answer........

Raznic Nightshade

DM: Within a week, you receive your response from Vladimir Nikailov.

Raznic, Priest of Belinik,

If you know where my daughter is held, and you return her to me safely,
then I will gladly aid you in ridding the world of Drago. If you require a
distraction, I will send some of my restless warriors to Baikal to distract
Drago and his warriors to give you your opportunity to strike.

If any harm comes to my daughter, I will see that you are repaid in kind.
If you return her to me unharmed, I shall reward you. I vow not to trouble
a Molochev ruled by you, if you in turn swear an oath to bring no harm to
me or my country, an oath sworn in blood by both parties.

If you play me false, I will see you troubled at every turn, if you keep
your word, you have won a friend.

Vladimir Nikailov, Voivoid of Kozlovnny
