Welcome to Dhoesone, I am Corwyn de Soniele, Earl of Soniele and the Constable of Dhoesone, and I am one of Duchess Fhiele's chief councilors. I am also related to her grace through her mother's side of the family; our mothers were sisters. Her grace's mother was the former Queen of Tuarhievel, and my mother, Arduinna, was of the Tuarhievel noble house of Llyrandor, making us first cousins.

I am known to most people as a champion of the tournament field, but I am also considered one of the finest swords and military leaders in Anuire and I take the protection of the people of Dhoesone very seriously.

In my role as Constable, I am the overall commander of her grace's army. There are two symbols of my office, the first is the Sword of the Constable named Joyous, it was presented to me when I took the Office of Constable. The sheath is covered in green velvet, embellished with gold and silver oaks leaves that wrap the sheath from hilt to point. Traditionally, the constable was presented with the sword on taking his office. The other symbol of my office is a baton covered in red velvet embellished with golden oak leaves and acorns in column from cap to cap. Engraved on the gilt end caps of my baton is the Latin inscription: Terror belli, decus pacis, which means "Terror in war, ornament in peace".

Dhoesone has been considered a frontier land by most. The Duchess has worked very hard over the last decade to change this perception. Since the end of the Black Hand War, there have been many new settlers from across Anuire.

The realm has a good economy and strong trading partners. Our chief exports are timber, furs, and wool.
